Please read these terms and conditions of use (“Conditions”) carefully before using the Gippsland Magazine website (“Site”), as by using the Site you will be deemed to have agreed to them.

The Site is owned by CP Media & Co (collectively referred to as “we”, “us”, “our” or “CP Media & Co”. ).

Your conduct

You agree that you will not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful and will comply with all relevant laws and regulations. In particular you agree that you will not use the Site to spam; collect information about others without their consent; transmit or upload any material that contains viruses or any other harmful programs or that breaches any laws including intellectual property or privacy rights; interfere with or disrupt the Site or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any services or information.

Copyright and trade marks

All materials and content on the Site including but not limited to any and all trade marks, service marks, designs and products, are the property of CP Media & Co or otherwise used by CP Media & Co under license and subject to copyright and other intellectual property protection. This Site contains commercially sensitive and valuable information, which is both confidential and protected by copyright.

You must not republish, copy, reproduce, transmit, distribute or use any part of the Site in any way, or modify or adapt any material on the Site, without the permission of CP Media & Co.

Any communications sent to this Site or otherwise to us by electronic mail are on a non-confidential basis, and we may reproduce, publish, or otherwise use such communications in any way for any purpose, subject to relevant privacy laws.

Applicable law

These Conditions are governed by and to be construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia. You irrevocably and unconditionally agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.


This Site may provide links or references to other sites originating from other companies, individuals or organisations but CP Media & Co has no responsibility for the content or operation of any such sites and shall not be liable for any damages or injury arising out of or resulting from access to or use of such sites.

Collection of Information

CP Media & Co will collect personal information from you when you knowingly provide it to us. For example, when you register on our Site to purchase products, make an enquiry or enter a competition, we will request personal information from you such as your name, address, e-mail address, contact phone number and credit card details.

Credit card transactions are processed by Pay Pal. Credit card details are transmitted via a secure server using Secure Sockets Layer Protocol with an encryption key length of 128bits.  Credit card information is not stored or retained by CP Media & Co.

Click Stream Data

Each time you visit our Site our server collects some anonymous information, known as click-stream data, including the type of browser and system you are using; the address of the site you have come from and move to after your visit; the date and time of your visit; and your server’s IP address.

We may collect this information for statistical purposes to find out how our Site is used and navigated, including the number of hits, the frequency and duration of visits, most popular session times. We may use this information to evaluate and improve our Site performance.
