Avon Ridge
A convivial atmosphere among the vines is one of the features at Avon Ridge Winery’s new restaurant. So to is the smart and super delicious menu. It is abundant and chock-full of treats and features a large selection of share plates which include chicken and pork meat balls, with fennel chilli and Napoli sauce, or the fried Parisian Gnocchi. This menu is above your average fare and you will be wanting to make a return visit to try the whole menu.

Jorg at Narkoojee
For wine and food lovers the Restaurant Jorg at Narkoojee winery is a special treat. The Mediterranean influenced menu features handmade pasta, antipasti and stone baked pizza. Try the spaghettoni with smoked ocean trout and a delicious selection of desserts.

Toms Cap
Slightly off the beaten track but well worth the visit is Toms Cap Winery.
The winery is in a superb setting surrounded by bushland. It is about a 10 minute drive from Traralgon, south along the Hyland Highway.
Once you get there the menu offers a wide range of proteins including the current offering of Asian Pork Belly, Toms Cap raised beef fillet or chicken korma. It is a balanced menu with plenty on offer for a special occasion or a relaxed Sunday afternoon feast.
Once you’ve enjoyed your fill you can also arrange to stay overnight in one of their elegant country cottages.
